“….we used the drain sponges on AJ and the nurses are more than pleased with the results already. Can we get some in stock immediately?”

“Just wanted you to know that DM with the trach., site has decreased purulence since last week. He has been on antibiotics also, so we are having Teri order us some more of the 4X4's, some 2X2's and the supersponges so that we can try it a little further.”

“As we discussed, I have had some success with the antimicrobial dressings. I.B. has been positive for MRSA and since using the antimicrobial dressings, has now had 1 culture so far which is negative for MRSA. I also used on C.J., who had a decline of her stage 4 wound, while on a wound vac. I discontinued the wound vac and am now (after 2 weeks of using the dressings) starting to see a decrease in the size of the wound. I like the product and plan to order some of the super sponge dressings to use for these 2 residents.”

“We have seen excellent results in a couple of our residents. We had one male resident "young" with chronic pressure ulcers on ischial and sacral areas. We had a devil of a time getting these areas to improve. I started with the AMD 4x4 and then decided to change to the TELFA Island Dressing because we were having issues with not being able to keep the 4x4 taped in place or the area becoming soiled. Once we switched to the AMD TELFA we have noted major improvements the area on the sacrum is almost healed and the area on the ischial tube has went from quarter to dime sized and is filling in nicely with granulation tissue.
We also had a gentleman with large open surgical wound on the foot and began doing RX and using the AMD dressing and he is healing up fabulously. I think we're sold. Information you just sent very encouraging. Talk to you soon. Have a fabulous weekend.”

“Our facility recently agreed to trial Kendall's "Anti Microbial KERLIX Rolls" and "Super Sponges". We chose two patients from our transitional care unit with chronic Stage 3 wounds. Both cases required mechanical debridement or "wet to dry" dressing changes twice daily. The standard sterile gauze was replaced with the Anti Microbial gauze from Kendall. After one week, we recorded a significant improvement in the general condition of both wounds. We noted a decrease in wound exudate, increased granulation and an overall "cleaner" appearance of the wounds' base.
We will continue to use Kendall's Anti microbial dressings in the future and look forward to more great results!”

“Pat is here and jumping in, staff reported today that our G-tube is looking much better, and I have noted significant improvement in our gluteal wound. Thanks for the tip plan to order more dressings.”
